It was Mark's vision in 1988 to move beyond simple brainstorming and the "fuzzy front end" and help Fortune 500 companies unleash the power of their own resources to stimulate growth by innovating throughout the business functions and value chain.
Beginning in 1974 in Colgate-Palmolive's fledgling Corporate New Venture's Group, Mark found his business passion for innovation. In 1982 he joined the early explorers of the creativity process at Synectics, becoming Managing Partner in 1986. In 1988 he founded Creative Realities, capturing the dynamic tension between creativity and implementation which is the basis of innovation everywhere.
In my desire to not become an irrelevant retiree, I'm focused on giving back to the community with four programs I have created or am helping to build:
New ideas are a dime a dozen. Innovation is what you do with those ideas to make them real and create new value.
"While he may be retired, Mark set us on this path and instilled our passion for innovation. He will always be our mentor, our coach, our thought provocateur and the voice in the back of our head that will not accept anything but the best we can do for our clients and their innovation goals"
